A continued experiment with light, randomness, and refraction.

Randomness plays an integral role in our organic and digital lives whether we know about it or not. Whether this randomness expresses itself as waves in the ocean or cryptographic key generation in digital security systems we are constantly in contact with immeasurable systems. 

 

In this experiment I wanted to play with this randomness and present it in a beautiful way. 

 

As I toyed with this concept I created a form of seed randomness through the structure of float glass, light, and dichroic film. I am currently developing this prototype with the goal of creating something striking and delightful.
